I believe that the education provided in dental school is only the foundation for a successful dental professional. In keeping with that philosophy, I have taken CE courses and will continue to seek education outside of school. Having completed all major requirements for graduation in my first clinical year, I am treating this year as a GPR. To date, I have completed the following CE courses:

Feb/2007 Invisalign certification. Temple University weekend course. 7 hours
4/15/07 2 weeks OMFS externship at Episcopal Hospital- Philadelphia PA
7/3/07 3 weeks OMFS externship at Metro Health Hospital- Cleveland, OH
9/28/07 Practical applications of immediate placement/ immediate loading, Dr. Robert Jaffin 7 hours
10/17/07 Precision Based Endodontics, Dr. Dennis Brave. 6 hours; 4 hours Lecture, 2 hours hands on rotary endo
12/17/07 Hands on rotary Endodontics course taught at Temple University. 5 hours (course limited to top 20 students)
3/1/08 Academy of Osseointegration annual meeting. 5.5 hours on various bone grafting procedures, CT implant placement, immediate restorations
6/1/08 A 100 hour course in implant placement and restoration with live surgeries, pig jaws, and model surgery. The course is put on by Implant Educators and began 10/20/07 → 6/1/08
6/26/08 Oral Sedation Dentistry. 25 hours. D.O.C.S.- Have current California sedation permit.
11/20/08 3 day hands on, in office Neuromuscular Occlusion with Dr. Barry Cooper. ( use of K7 Electromyograph and J5 Myomonitor)
